The solutions you provide

Using your communicational talent and analytical mindset, you’ll identify possible or present issues in the company you’re working at and come up with solid solutions. That solution will differ, depending on your project and your consultant role.

Perhaps you’ll bridge the gap between business and IT as a business analyst, improve pricing tools as a pricing analyst, or help implement a new software tool to streamline operations as a process analyst.

Whatever your role is, you can be sure that your actions will matter.

‘Because of new legislation, all tasks concerning photo-voltaic installations had to be transferred from the Flemish Market Regulator (VREG) to distribution grid operators (DGO’s). As project manager, I facilitated this transfer for a particular energy company. Among other things, I helped implement change management for the company’s back office, front office and call centre, taking into account a strict legal deadline.’
‘I supported the marketing department of an energy supplier in generating cross-sales leads and innovative ideas. As process analyst, my role was to analyse their current processes, select the right tool to improve these processes and ensure that no opportunities were lost.’
‘Due to the rapidly evolving energy sector, new market rules were implemented (MIG6) in the energy market in November 2023. I supported an energy provider in the redesign of their internal systems. As Business Analyst, my role was to closely monitor their operational systems and provide a bridge between the business and IT teams.’
‘As Odoo Analyst, I supported an energy provider with the installation of charging stations across Flanders. I improved their current processes and helped develop new workflows, such as maintenance. Quite a challenge that required clear communication and a problem-solving mindset.’
‘A family-owned inspection company for electricity, gas installations and hoisting equipment experienced rapid growth, requiring them to optimise their internal processes. As a TAG consultant, I introduced Project Management methodology, helped catalogue existing projects and ideas, and implemented a governance structure that helped them get back on the digital track.’
‘Due to a business transition, a set of gas and electric installations needed to migrate from one company to the next. Overseeing the data migration was part of my responsibilities as a consultant.’
‘A large energy supplier wanted to improve their dataflows with smarter tools, to ensure the accurate calculation of energy consumption for their customers. My role as a consultant was to manage the data team in the development of a new forecasting and P&L tool, and help improve their process flows and data quality.’
‘A reseller active in the energy and telecom industry wanted to improve the workflow of their customer satisfaction team. Because their product owner was unavailable, they required a versatile consultant who could handle various aspects of the project, including testing, functional work, and data analysis. Our consultants took care of the necessary project management.
‘As a TAG consultant, I had the opportunity to facilitate a change of ownership for an important electricity and gas supplier. The head of the energy department had left and the energy team was in need of guidance. I supported as head of energy ad interim to help transition the B2B client portfolio and redefine the company’s strategy in the context of the new owner.’
‘To optimise their workflow, an energy supplier invested in a new software system. To execute its implementation, they decided to take some of their key business process analysts out of the day-to-day business. The created gap was filled in by a team of consultants, including myself to keep operations running.’
‘Because of a merger of different grid operators into one, TAG was called in to help integrate business and IT processes from different companies into one. Among other things, our consultants aligned stakeholders, created functional designs and a chance request documentation.’
